1. The media center is an institution of the education authority of the City of Bonn. It provides users with material and equipment for educational and teaching purposes.
2. These terms of use do not apply to media of the City of Bonn within the "Bildungsmediathek NRW - Medien für Schule und Bildung". Separate usage regulations apply here.

Users include schools, youth work and adult education institutions and non-profit educational institutions in Bonn. The media center's services are available to them free of charge.

1. In addition to collecting materials in person, requests can also be made via the school post office by telephone or in writing by e-mail. Materials and equipment that require instruction or are extensive must be collected in person.
2. The loan period is 14 working days. It can be extended before it expires if no advance order has been placed.
3. Items must be returned by the return deadline. If the return date is exceeded, the borrower will receive a reminder. A change of school during the loan period must be reported to the Media Center immediately and without being asked, so that the customer number - which refers to the respective school - can be adjusted accordingly.
4. Unauthorized re-lending is not permitted.

1. By requesting and personally collecting the material and equipment, the borrower accepts the binding terms of use of the Media Center Bonn.
2. The Media Center reserves the right to exclude the borrower or user in question from the rental service if individual provisions of these terms of use are violated.

1. The material and equipment are lent out in perfect condition. Damage must be reported to the Media Center immediately.
2. The obligation to pay compensation in the event of loss, damage or misuse of the materials and equipment is subject to the statutory provisions. In the event of damage, the value of the restoration shall be reimbursed; in the event of loss, the value of the replacement shall be reimbursed.

These Terms of Use shall enter into force on November 01, 2024.
